About

Dr. Rob Kirby

Rob grew up playing multiple sports and dealt with injuries throughout his athletic life. A torn hip labrum led to five years of chronic pain that affected every part of his training and daily life.

After trying everything he could find, he eventually combined the most effective methods with what he learned while earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University as well as working with world class coaches.

This approach allowed him to return to competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu pain free. He has used the same systems and methodologies to over help over 1,000 active people and athletes return to the activities they enjoy.

What Makes Athlete Lab Different

The goal is to help clients take full control of their bodies. Soft tissue work and dry needling may be used, but the foundation is exercise, mobility, and long term strength development.
